Cortebert Cal 615 found in Favre Leuba Marvel P/W

Post by rustyscoot »

I wasn’t aware of Favre Leuba using Cortebert movements. In this watch is a Cal 615. A 10 jewel variant of the 616 by the looks of it. No jewels on the pallet, pallet cock and top plate bushing or roller table I would imagine.

Could be a source of cheap parts etc. I bet India is loaded to the hilt with these…. Maybe they used 616s as well??

This pocket watch sold for £71 at auction.

Always handy to learn which companies used Cortebert ebauches. Jupiter Tellus and Favre Leuba.

Off to ebay now…
