Anyone know who made this movement? Paul Breguette was an Ebel brand apparently, but I can’t find anything in this movement and I suspect it was not made by Ebel. Looking for a stem but don’t know where to start.
I haven’t taken the dial off yet so perhaps the answer is there, but it’s a lovely pocket watch so I want to keep it whole till I have a case I really want to put it in.
Thanks,
D

Re: Paul Breguette
We've had that discussion earlier, on the old forum, but unfortunately I have completly forgotten the makers name.atkin68 wrote: ↑October 11th, 2020, 12:52 pm Anyone know who made this movement? I know that AS 1045 had those bridges, but it is oval.
I think it was AS 1054, 1058 or 1059, the hamster was only resting. LOL!
AS 1054 takes stem number 354 according to the Ronda list, I don't have the DCN list.

The screws are for timing reasons and temperature compensationTimemiT wrote: ↑October 11th, 2020, 2:29 pm seems based on Unitas 6497 (or vice versa ) ... and what is up with the million adjustment screws on the balance wheel?!!

Re: Paul Breguette
Hey thanks Yoda ! Now I see the DNA of this movement...although, this one is 17 jewels with a jeweled center wheel, and those three calibers are 15J with brass center. Just a newer version of the same caliber? Or a different caliber?

Re: Paul Breguette
All these were 15 jewels movements, there are more like it in the 1070 range and 1120 range, I assume that this one was especially made for Paul Breguette and not a part of the standard AS movements.

Re: Paul Breguette
These "tetris" movement are my favorites, and I've had / have quite a few of them
They come in a variety of jewelings: 7, 9, 15, 16, 17, 21 jewels. And looots of different brands. Probably most sought after are Girard-Perregaux's...
