That’s a beautiful polish job! Any tips for cleaning up plated parts without removing the plating? My only successful method so far is getting things as clean as possible and then scrubbing with rodico for a couple hours.
I keep adding airplane parts to my motorbike but it still doesn’t fly

Dear friend, it is very difficult to do the job without taking it apart.. I don't have such experiences.. Among other things, I must note that the polishing paste should be as fine as possible.. I was also positively surprised by Poliwatch.. Of course, you need to try it from the lower side of the plateau to see that the paste is not too strong.. I never use a machine for that, only cotton wool.. Then washing in gasoline.. Then cleaning.. I also tried with tablets for cleaning dentures and some chemicals for the bathroom, but that doesn't help much.. Maybe someone has some more proposal:)

Re: What are you working on now?
Thanks for the tip! I tried very tiny amounts of Mother’s aluminum polish a couple of times and it took the plating off far too quickly. I’ll give Polywatch a try.
