Good question, would imagine all of them are different. My thought is that there is a pressure fit bezel that needs to be removed. However, could you still make a dive watch 1000m WR with a pressure fit assembly?

Top loading. Fair enough, but the stem release button of an NH35 is on the backside and that is closed solid...blueradish wrote: ↑May 12th, 2020, 11:29 amGood question, would imagine all of them are different. I read a little bit and some net source said that you have to tear out the stem with force. I do not even want to imagine what this may do to keyless and even worse the crown threading.

Well..... technically, a service is typically $50-$100. A new NH35 is $45.hako wrote: ↑May 12th, 2020, 12:14 pmTop loading. Re: Heimdallr 1KM Tuna
That's ridiculous, not sure who would do that. It does bring up an interesting problem being front load with the stem release on the back side. Mystery needs to be solved.hako wrote: ↑May 12th, 2020, 12:14 pmTop loading. Re: Heimdallr 1KM Tuna
My thinking is watchmaker will sacrifice the stem by cutting it off the crown and push the remaining in to release the movement! Just my guess!

Re: Heimdallr 1KM Tuna
if it's front loaded, then it's safer to unscrew the crown then tilt the watch a bit so the movement can be released from the case.
