Will they really be 40mm? the movement is based off a 6497/8 arent they too big?

I found the case-set for sale on it`s own yesterday. And they measure it to 41.26mm

So not 40mm. But still among the smallest cases for 6497/8 I have found. A 6497/98 movement is 36.6mm So technically a 40 should be possible?

Yes, ebay charging sales tax in Canada and most states. They told the Government they were worried sales would be affected if they enforced it. They were right. I don't mind for small items but I was looking at a Gen watch and taxes would have been $450. No thanks, so many other places to buy without giving the gov their share.

I have no prob with sales tax on new items, but used should be exempt.
Tax on used should be a criminal offence; and I am not even kidding.

I agree. In fact, it's against the fiscal doctrine that states, nothing can be taxed more than once, otherwise, there will be taxation on taxation which is truly an offence
