One possibility is a certain rise in retail prices but then sending the goods with VAT already paid.
AliExpress is doing this already. They just add VAT at the cashier. Then there are no handling feeds by DHL and the like. Namoki did very much the same they raised prices by 15% and send VAT included.
It is up to Athaya. He could do the same.
We could tell him about this option. He might have overlooked the possibility.

It happened to me previously when I got a watch from Spain and DHL charged me service fees for helping me to paid upfront of my country Tax! I then told DHL that I wasn't given an option and I can pay the Tax myself. If they insist of charging me the service fees, I'll not accept/receive the package and told them to send it back to the seller instead! I never used DHL anymore accept for package below taxable amounts! The worst courier I've encountered so far.
