Making a brass GPF buckle

26mm GPF buckle made from 3mm thick brass. The finished buckle weighs about 16g so it is not a lightweight.

Cutting out the shape.

and cleaned up

starting to take shape. At this point the blank has lost over twenty per cent of its weight.

Right! The inside edges are indeed beveled at about 45 degrees, the outside edges are rounded. I'll take some better pics later.
