2022-09-14: Closing for 3-4 Months.

I do hope you like the pens. It took a long time for them to ship to the USA and the EU. But…. we live in troubled times.

The house sale is coming up. I am trying to pack up the office. I am scanning and shredding documents, just in case my wife asks, why did you buy that watch in 2018…. I want no more part of this poisonous person.

To this end, I will close OWC Watch Company on Sunday 18th September, for the remainder of the year.

I have 5 Bond watches that can we sent out within that time. After that, everything will be packed up.

This morning I am taking my miniature poodle Buddy to the vet for his annual shots.

Live long and Prosper

Hi Mate

Thank you.

Yes, the pens use G2, that I understand are the Parker styled refills.

I am seriously thinking of doing a line of pens.

But…. but…as with all makers in the more economic part of the world, they are resistant to change. The pen you have is a compromise. I hate compromises, but this did not upset my OCD too much.

I started to talk to the maker about metals, about design variation and then they just went quiet. I did start a conversation with a high-end German pen maker, but we are looking above Euro 150 – they are excellent.

I would like to make a body that will accept roller ball and ball and fountain. I have such a pen and it is like the OWC Pen, but different.

It is all familiar with watch case making. They try to stick you with an in-house design.

As you guessed I like pens. watches, audio, cars, Star Trek, and other afflictions that congregate together.

Now I have no more wife. All I need is some encouragement and it could happen.

The problem with a low-cost item, is that the cost of shipping (say a pen) is about USD25 or more. Most seem to be unwilling to pay this much on a small item. Saying that, in my search for the pen, I was regularly paying USD25 or more.

Does anyone want another OWC Pen???
