Steeldive does it again with another Omega Homage

Post by Hidden Impact »

They've really done an amazing job offering up some real nice Omega homages. While not quite the accuracy of the homage from Helson, check this new one out for the Ploppy!

Vintage CG, Monoblock case, ?HEV? and other modern flairs...but I love it, and if I didn't already have the Helson, I'd snatch it up as a more affordable and accessible homage and throw in a vintage inspired dial!

Finish seems to be top class also. It would be great to see a side by side with the helson (a great piece)

And tell the world that everything's OK,
But I'll try to carry off a little darkness on my back,
'Till things are brighter, I'm the Man In Black."

i can confirm that...

monobloc, very heavy, they seem to have some problems with glue and the bezel insert,
first watch i got, the insert didn't turn with the bezel. Thin one in the pic, I got yesterday,
I had to break the bezel loose...
