ETA 6497 from pocket watch Casing help

Hi members,

I was offline for a long time, its nice to see that this forum is still alive!

I want to make cleaning/service of my watch and I´m facing this issue:

My ETA 6497 from pocket watch have this style casing screws, its high above the bridges and there is no gap for "clamps" to get lower to get this movement in correct casing possition in Pam style 44mm case.

Is there any other solution to get this movement fixed in the case without the screws? Intermediate ring? Or some extra shaped clamps for this?

I hope I have explained this clearly, if not I can provide actual photos of my watch movement and case.

Correct size movement ring is the way to go.

I remove this step with little file.. But again need clamps..

For a 44mm case there isn’t any movement ring provided and you don’t need one. I know that it’s tricky to fix this movement in the case but it is possible… see below.

This is a 47mm case with a movement ring but you can see that it can be fixed with (the right) clamps.
