PAM00630 dial

Post by matrixxu »

Hi guys !

Need some help, maybe there is someone that knows what the surface of the dial on the GEN 00630 is made of.
I found stainless steel as a detail, but that's for the base of the dial, but cannot find any details about being enamel surface, or ceramic.

A friend of mine owns one, and would love to know if it will patina or not in time, due to uv exposure.

PAM00630 dial

i had the gen 630, now i have the 778
as far as i know is lacquer dial

As definition - Lacquered finished dial have similar appearance as enamel finished dial (which is used in high-end watch making). Instead of using enamel powder, a lacquered dial is produced by spray-painting a few layers of lacquer (or enamel paint) on the base dial (normally made of brass).

But im not sure, dial deffinately looks awesome and like enamel
