Coming back to HF with friends.

Hey HF fam,
It’s been several years since I’ve really been active here and my collecting has shifted a lot in the past 6-7 years.

I’m dropping in to catch up as I still chat with many of you in other non forum settings like social media or group chats.

Hoping to engage a bit more and will try to be more present.

Although I haven’t done my own builds now in more than 5 years I know the itch still is there sometimes.

Hope you’re all well and please do comment here for any old timers who are still around.

Best wishes for all of you this coming holidays and hopefully I’ll get a chance to see you all IRL as our journeys cross paths.

Good to see you drop by . It has been a little more quiet around here, certainly compared to 15 years ago - thanks to all that damn social media, but some of us are still here. I keep telling myself that I will finally finish a build I started in 2014.

Yes it seems the responses are a bit slower nowadays. I thought perhaps Tapatalk and forum access that way would be more engaging to get people here but it seems other things take up the time instead.

Yes, I remember checking in from my laptop late at night on the mini chat and at least 4-5 members were usually on.

Glad to see youre still around.

I have one build i am stuck on which was an old acrylic 3646 case with a 8 day movement.

The movement is stuck and I just don’t know why!

Hopefully it’ll get sorted.

Good to see you Civic! I've been mostly lurking the last few years as well. Simply don't have the time to work on any builds. I have a bunch of leftover parts that I should do something with though. Would love to build a few more watches, when I have the time.
