Cut, sanded, three layers of clear coat for boats, lots of stainless screws to keep the boards in place. Stored the boards for two years to make sure that they were flat and had stopped sweating.
I am restoring four garden chairs from around 1963, made from round feather steel. Tossed the old wooden parts, bought new screws and had the feather frame blasted before painting it, nice to sit in and remember times past.
