Looks good! If you don't mind me asking, what's going on between 4 minutes past 10:30 and 7-8 minutes to 11?
The dial or the crystal/plexi?

Unfortunately the dial has been scratched in the decades before we received it. The crystal is replaced with a fresh one and so what you see there is all from prior folks who were not careful.
It’s a pretty well worn example but i think it has loads of character.

Yes, haven't we all seen traces of a hand touching the dial.civic4982 wrote: ↑November 20th, 2020, 11:56 amUnfortunately the dial has been scratched in the decades before we received it. The crystal is replaced with a fresh one and so what you see there is all from prior folks who were not careful.

You are absolutely right, it's a proof of a life well lived.

Good and tough watch. But I would ask a designer how on earth he could choose such short hour and minute hands?! They ruin all the layout. How can one read minutes I wonder...bukowski wrote:![]()

I know but it’s similar to the „original“ Junghans J88 from the 1960sBelkin12 wrote:Good and tough watch. But I would ask a designer how on earth he could choose such short hour and minute hands?! They ruin all the layout. How can one read minutes I wonder...bukowski wrote:![]()
