I am not expert on this but I think Cort 592 was never used by Panerai.

Old Rolex movement for Panerai project.
It is more on cal.534/526 that are one size bigger. 18" for 590/592, 530, 532, 542 and 19" for 526, 528, 536, 540, 548. 40.85mm vs 41.85mm. 18"/40.85mm base plate ca be reduced to 40mm for installing in common cases. 41.85 will not be possible to reduce because will need to cut from bridges and case modified for balance wheel.
Also thickness, it is 5,7mm+ this will make it impossible to install in cases without a hard mods of case and casebacks.
This 19 lignes movements are good foe Egiziano 55mm+ builds.
