Pre v lug bars
AnyOne ever try doing pre v style compression fit lug bars? Same as vintage style, but with notch cut out each end to mimic screw heads? Was i dreaming or did someone do these a while back?

Re: Pre v lug bars
You can buy springbars with fake screw heads on one side to mimic stock screws.

Re: Pre v lug bars
River used to have these years ago. I’ve always thought one could just cut up two springbars carefully, without cutting the inner spring, then rejoin the two “fat” ends. But never tried it myself.
Edit: Sorry I misread, I thought you meant replicating double screw lug bars. I just realized you meant compression bars. Haven’t seen those but should be easy to make.

Most of them (with ”fake” screw) however have a thinner end on one side to mimic the threaded side.Emilio wrote:I think searching for "24mm springbars" does the trickhako wrote:I am pretty sure to have seen the type Emilio mentioned on eBay.
Double screw ”gen spec” ones are available from Wholesaleoutlet on eBay.
I know a lot about Submariners...

Re: Pre v lug bars
Yep i have a gen spec set but they aren't great tbh- design flaw corrected in pre a cases.
Compression bars are the best of all imo, just thinking that if screw notches were cut into pin ends they would look like pre v but be much better.
