I know the feeling. Happened to me, my first Mille Metri... At the gym too.

I have a welded lug case set with Esdee lugs soldered in place.

And those rehaut rings you gave to me.

And maybe an Angelus dial.

For you if you want it. Just pay shipping.

I don't think it is much different here, it is just a smaller country.

Thanks Emilio, I will think of what to do next. I do have a rehaut ring, some more early Southy dials, some custom dials and a movement ring. I know that I have a KW movement on its way from US of A, it should be here soon. I will probably end up doing a conversion for myself.
Perhaps there is a reason for everything.

Yoda my case is polished. Maybe you prefer it to leave it that way?

Oh, polished! LOL! I would gladly unload that from you. I have dial, rehaut, hands, stem and all that, will need to look for some parts.

Let me know what I can do for you, $, parts, trade, work?

It is time now, to assemble a "gen" from NOS parts, the old question..gen, franken, replica, homage...

The only parts not gen will be dial and case, but who cares, it can only tell the time anyway.

Oh, and I have a source for a blasted case if you would be interested down the road? Can't tell if it is a River or Esdee, I didn't ask.

The case was polished up to fix imperfections on the lug area and the sandblasting was going to be left as an option for the future owner.

The welded lug I have almost finished for myself is sandblasted already by a friend of the forum :) but I need a new proper dial for it (Belkin is making it)

My grandmother always said: "when in need, a naked woman will learn how to knit clothes".

So, I find myself entertaining a Paneristi collector in my hunt for parts, looking forward to see what happens.
