lost about $28K on Gastar (GST) ... several years ago, a prominent small oil and glass exploration company in Texas and Oklahoma area ... declared bankruptcy, but still owns all that valuable acreage ... worst part, I used IRA funds to purchase the stock, and cannot be written off as a stock loss.
