I mean once you've started, you gotta wear these things, look at them all day, make wristies and other compulsive acts, bear the envious looks of your peers.

Definitely not. Your hobby is the collection of parts, and your pleasure is to contemplate its potential to become beatiful watches. If you execute that potential, your entire collection loses its value. And you will have to stock up again. A watch is not built because you have the pieces for it, it is built because you desire a certain watch. Building only because you have the pieces does not make sense.

Yes, building has been on my mind for a good while now, but life in general seems to get in the way.
The boxes comes from a museum, they used to have these airtight boxes for insects in their old exhibition and I was lucky to get them when they upgraded.
