Great craftsmanship indeed. But 52mm might be to big for me too,47mm would be perfect, though.I even think 44 or 45mm would look great too,I don't know why this hasn't been tried out yet...

You are one hell of a magician! I liked the raw industrial look it had before it was blasted.
Good job!
I can easily see this as a no cg watch, a high end build with a nice 240 inside.
great idea! ill send you an invoice for the deposit!
there are other ideas for that style, ill show you in a bit.

to keep the proportions of the original which is so attractive, you loose space on the dial for the seconds and the 8 day engraving.
china sent a 47 for a bit but the bezel was really thin looked funny.

I would love to see a one off!
I see these as instruments, they deserve a big and flat crown.

lol, me too, it was almost as bad as spending a week reshaping a case taking out all the file and paper marks then the customer says, "can you age it.. you know some dents and scratches..."

Never thought about that, loosing "seconds option" would indeed be a pitty. That would require a smaller movement and all the complications this brings along.I absolutely agree that main proportions such as the bezel thickness must be maintained.

Absolutely agreed! That is why I still think the DSN 52mm egi case has the best looking case/bezel shape which is in a much more wearable size!
Will be in too, if you can make a slightly smaller then a 52mm build that still have the beautiful silhouette of the egi and also like what Hidden Impact said the Dial design is as important to the overall look of the egi.
