I will service it another day. The base weighs a lot for its size, about 1.300 g. I'm curious what material it's made of.

I have calculated the volume of the base, which is a trunk of a cylinder with a cylindrical recess, and I get 155.66 cubic cm. The weight of the base is 1230 gr. Then the density of the material is 7.9 gr/cubic cm. The gadolinium has that density, and the iron 7.87. A magnet sticks to the base, and the gadolinium does not stick to the magnets. Then it comes to some stainless iron alloy. My feeling that it was heavier than iron was wrong.

Yes, presing the pin the rotation of the bezel change the hour. Whitout presing the pin it winds up.
