With that quality polish and those soldered joints,go straight for NOS style; definitely!
Not at bad idea.

Just applied the resin. At my 4th attempt it didn’t went bad.

Don’t know if I could pull this again, but after the mess I did with the previous runs, I had to clean the dial.
Tafari and myself made very good experience with the Resin from Cleopatre called Diamond. Less bubbles and easier to work with. If you look in Tafari‘s posts there is Also some kind of tutorial.

What are you working on now?

Let the resin to settle for 2h. It was easy to handle.
The end result it’s not the perfect. Some indexes got not much resin. Above all, nice learning process.

My latest existencial problem was my setup: 2mm dial, 6497 movement with h3 CP and HW and finally a 616 blue hands.

This was my thought:

Why not had a tube using pressure fit to the HW and extended and then broach from inside to fit the 616 hands?

I made a first run last week and no success, the tube got cracks. So got another tube and made this

Just need to find a tube to repeat the process but for the minutes hands.

Could someone please let me know the hole size for the 616 minutes hands?

Thanks
