I only used a clasp cover, the open/close part of the uncle seiko bracelet is really good quality and snaps really nicely. i have a bunch of these clasp covers if you want one, direct fit just with the spring bars that come in the uncle seiko clasp,

After sanding dial down from 1.5mm to 0.9mm with various grits of sandpaper (400-3000) you mount it in a drill with dual sided adhesive and use various "grit" cloths and plexi polishing compound (make sure the dial is perfectly centered). Go slow so you don`t overheat the dial. :) Do that until you have achieved desired effect. I use polishing cloths and old t-shirts varying in fabric coarseness.

Ah, so you are polishing along the diameter and not back and forth across the dial center while slowly turning the dial?
