Good thing you planned ahead and got all the parts since the pandemic is not helping with the shipping of stuff.
Enjoy!

Decided to change engravings... from laser to pantograph
some lines I made not straight on purpose... please do not tell, tat they are ugly
Nice touch and finish!
Small details that matter
I see you changed the lever too.
i was thinking extend the tube or put one more O ring... it was too short. but on original pictures, the crown is almost in the middle. so later maybe i will shorten it a bit... after I instal the movement. first time work with A240, i do not know how far you need too pull the crown to set the time... its my only secong homage ... also the thread for CG screws is too short, I mesured its 1.9mm. i wonder can I use 2mm? i do not want to shorten the screws...

don’t force the screws inside, if the screw is to long shorten it only a little bit, otherwise you will spoil the thread. it is normal for the NW case, the screws still need to be adjusted to the CG. after shorten them, give the beginning of the thread a small 45° round. this will let the screw easy to screw in and find his way.
the lever of the CG is later adjusted with rubber seals between the crown and the crown tube, to fit tight to the crown for the latest NW case

Hi @netniet i managed to pick up the same bronze case - out of interest, did you do any reshaping or leave it as it is?
HI, For now I have not done any reshaping yet. I am thinking about to leave it as is because it is a fantasy build project.

Got me two semi-working 3602s and some used tools off of the local classifieds for approximately 50$ total to get into servicing my own movements
I’ll pick up a simple ultrasonic tomorrow hopefully. I’ve got destilled water, ammonia, dish washing fluid, alcohol and petrolether for cleaning parts anyway...
Let‘s see how this goes.

that looks like a lot of work, don’t use the alcohol for the balance and the anchor. good luck

Thank you for pointing this out! The alcohol acts as a solvent for the shellac holding the jewels, right? I might have rushed things and forgot about that...

It will not harm it for minute or two but don't go more than 3 mins... I use isopropyl alcohol for such cleaning, leaving no spots or residue...
