Not quite! It was cracked from a different build. But it gives peace of mind knowing that stock plexi has the same problem.

yes they have, I sanded more the inside and also the outside a little bit, till it fit good and easy inside the bezel. than polish everything very well, after I glue it inside with sternkreuz UV glue

It will probably work, apart from the fact that it may not look great. It may pop at some point and I would replace it at some point.

Great work Emilio, maybe I am wrong but it looks like ‘panerai’ isn’t horizontally centered between 5 and 7 markers, it’s slightly shifted to 5 marker.

My watch only has Marina Militare text on the dial, are you talking about mine?

Do you mean the "BREVET +" engraved text between the lugs? it's definitely centered (Gordon makes sure it is)

Was working on Gordon’s case but got into some issues.

1. The magnetic shield doesn’t allow to screw the case back. I’ve used the dremel to cut a little but still nothing, almost without edges to trim.

2. The crown guard it’s loose. I’m using the screws that came with the order but gets loose. Also it doesn’t make a really great pressure (almost none) to the crown. The metal also looks like sand blasted or so.

3. The lug holes are small for the lug bars that came with the order. The lug bars fit to the lug tubes but forget the lug holes. Do you normally drill the lug holes?

2. the screws need to be shortened, they are long. Stem tube does not need to be screwed in to the end

3. lugs burs need to be drilled, drill diameter 1.8mm
"Old style bar and tube system which although simple works very well. Bar stays firm inside the tube and does not fall out easily (it tightens in the middle). Recommended Lug hole size 1.8 mm. These bars are 26mm wide"

Run a little solder around the stem tube. There will be a “gap” at the bottom of the Stem Tube between the Stem Tube and Case. Solder from the top first, eventually the solder will run to the bottom. Let it harden then fill with solder. Do NOT try to fully screw the Stem Tube into the case so there is no gap, if you do you may find that the Stem Tube is too short. FYI 6152 Project: 1 – 87
