Currently I am working on this nice bronze case, and a gold colored eta 6498 movement.
I am thinking about using an old pocket watch dial for this build that I have in my spare parts box.
Still not sure if I am going to refinish the movement, or leave it like this.

It won't work if you leave it as it is.....LOL!

Seriously, leave it as it is, it's nice.

I want to make my own web site. Tired of giving away my pics to flickr etc.

Test web server configured, up and running, serving pages:

Wouldn't it be nice if all real life web sites could serve the main page in 0 seconds?

Yes it would. Are you running that on a local server and that’s the reason why it’s 0sec? Also the overhead that the other services put on top of their connections to track everything.

If the service is free, then you are the product :)

Don't I know it...

The server is running in a virtual machine on my PC as is the (separate) client I connected from to run the commands you see in the screenshot.

Some folks are using micro pcs like raspberries (cheap) to do these things

I'm tempted to that myself

Raspberry it’s the way to go.

The best ones are those made in UK.

I'm a slacker... just using my raspberries to build arcades/game stations/portables

I'm tempted to buy the RB CM4 to create a server though.

Well, RPi is a common choice. Hence, there is a trade off... Better choice, at my modest opinion is Beagle Bone. Here is why... RPi does not have flash memory, so OS is on SD card. Power outage can break fike system on SD card, happened to me and my mates many times. On the contrary, BBone has flash memory so it is pretty prone to pw outages... Either get proper oower source with ups or battery backup for RPi or use BB or something similar for that purpose...
Just my two cents...
