We don't discriminate here. He doesn't look impressed.

Wife and I are going to buy a bunch of stuff when we get to Winnipeg for Xmas and drop it off at the Humane Society. I'll report back.

Great thing you do for the animals

A bump for the good cause!

And a bit more of the story...

It was the first day I had Aga at my place. Remember he had a history of attacking people and other dogs for no obvious reasons. His former owner had mistreated him to a point where he had fractured ribs, hip and his left knee which had healed somewhat at that point but he certainly was scarred inside.
The two of us were alone, my wife was out working. I ignored him for most of the time, waiting for him to make his first move. I noticed him eyeing me from time to time somewhere between distrust and curiosity... there certainly was tension. So I went downstairs to my shop to work a bit on some project. When I came back an hour or so later he was gone - I mean a 100lb. white dog disappeared from a house with locked doors, nowhere to be found. No reaction to my calling, nothing...

Then a squeak from the bedroom...

There he was, in my closet, sleeping:

I kind of knew we would be getting along from that day

He wasn't a rescue dog but he passed away on the 28th from cancer. Its a nice thought Piloten - I've given to the RSPCA.
