Better than regular resin. Only downside is you don't get resin to sit completely flush with the surface.
The advantage is that is easy to apply, no bubbles, etc.
You need to clean it with alcohol once it's dry because it leaves a sticky surface.

Mostly shiny. Shinier than plain satin.
But, good quality and fresh resins (they have an expiration date) don't need that extra step thus making it look even shinier.

Completely watch un-related but fun to share... a good friend of mine is about to turn 60, his surname is „Wolf“. He always wanted a graffiti of a cartoon wolf next to his door and after asking our pot-head neighbor who’s been spraying his whole life to do it for him for like five times and the guy always said „yes, tomorrow“ but preferred to „not bogart his joint“ that very day, I decided to give it a go. Acrylic lacquer on aluminium composite - the big bad wolf
