Yep, three coats of boiled linseed oil and a coat of antique wax for gloss... small parts will slide off like a stick of butter from the hood of a black car in the sun :lol:

I measured a couple of train bridges, they seem to vary a wee and I assume that it may be the plating. The safest reading is 1,895 mm, but I would experiment and go for 1,9 mm and see what happens. Thinning ever so little in steps and you are there. I would turn a brass pin to 1,9 mm and use wet paper for the last hundreds of a mm. Patience.

I use those, one with 0.35 and another 0.70 center hole. 1.50mm thick and 2.00mm diameter.
If someone needs I can share. Do not need all :)
