Wow, that looks like beautiful embossing on the case. Is that an actual Rolex box from the period?

yes, It is original box For Rolex Montilier 663 Extra Prima Pocket watch with gold filled chain in amazing condition. Quite busy at the moment. will try to take good picture of the movement next week hard to find with right engravings... Montilier 668 more pieces avalable with right engravings, but 668 is much thinner then 663.

yours is amazing piece of art! the one from that box is a little different. 17 is on the far left end, Rolex engraving is a bit bigger. but model is the same. by mistake I bought also few 668, they look almost the same ))) after I finish 6152 two projects, I plan to make 2.5mm dial for mine 663. by the way, the one on my avatar is Montilier 664.

I am planning to upgrade to a Panerai box like this:

Yep, this is my idea.
I wanted to do it also on this project but I decided to use a strap + buckle, see below.

Nice idea! very important that the watches not rubbing each other. its tight and they are safe!

8 dollar 50sents, with box and papers, year 1957.... unbelievable leather quality , running super good I'm a shopaholic... why I'm buying stuff that I do not have time to work on?
