The AM/PM is driven off the sub/arrow hand, the date change is driven from the main hour hand which you can click forward and back. It was 12 hours off...

I have this one with the dot dial indicator. Lovely watch. Just been serviced as I finally experienced the ‘sticky’ fang issue in the power reserve indicator.
