Sure, theres was two differtent batches of KW, as i posted before even with videos. Theres older ones like gen specs when you need to turn the pillars to allow extra 1mm material of new bridge (old one was 1mm and new one with hole was 2mm). New batches comes with already recess of 1 mm on the pillar so no need to turn the pillars 1mm extra.

What threading you made? the ones for the báscule and the spring? for sure some customers ask me not to do the threading as they will use generic screws, so for sure you cant tell if was a QC issue or just a custom made bridge.
I think now even with chinese Tap and die can make with no problem threading on brass.

Hey Jorge, you are probavly right. I happened to find a gen part and skipped the one with the larger pillar holes. No problem.

It's been some time since I've been here. I am looking for two conversion plates , seeing who's supplying them now and who can do a conversion? Going to put an SF240 in a custom made Ennebi.

Please pass any info you guys might have.

Yes. They will be making essentially an Ennebi 9693 in titanium , bakelite dial, creamy lume and use on of my 240 movements. Might have them make a heart shaped small seconds hand. I tried buying a 9693 from a couple people but they want way more than original retail and Ennebi is going to make it for just a little more than they originally sold. It'll be the only 9693 of its kind.


From reading around it seems the guy from Chile is no good. Is there anyone else making conversion bridges?

All my 240 & 618 movt. work from Chileantiques, his work very good but . . . like everyone said about working time.

I concur with your comments. The Chileantiques bridge sets and the work he did on my 240 was excellent, but it took over two years and much communication to get completed. I think he has (or had) periods of time when he went away, and work piled up. I know he is banned from HF pending explanations and service to some of our frustrated members, but other than the extraordinary length of time I am very pleased with the work he did for me. I think he may be present on other sites, and I have his email, phone number, and contact address if you want it (at your risk!). The problem is, I do not think anyone else is producing these bridge sets. River is selling upgraded 3646 heads with a 616 movement and 618 bridges: I wonder if he would care to venture into 240 upgrades?
