I have a Cali dial with me ready to be lumed and finished. All I can say is that the effect is crazy, it shines like Dow's but has a matte surface finish. Looking forward to do something with it... And the Rolex dials are no less of course :thumbup:

A.
turn the dial belly down facing a high gloss polish infini sponge (4000) and rub until you feel metal hot under your fingers.

Then use diluted white acrylic paint to fill the recesses and when dry remove the excess with a wet (alcohol) microfiber cloth.

The black @Fizzzz uses is high quality and resists to alcohol contrarily to most of the vietnamese dials.

Then lume. Recesses are very helpful to guide but you must be attentive to the “au point” viscosity.

I have no rebuke in saying that these dials are the top of the game.
