The main plate has 1 49, so maybe January 1949? If it was cheaper and stem wind it would be tempting, still past my budget though. Any thoughts on what the “SC” means?

Pretty stiff price. 1 49 is most likely the production date.
"SC" is unknown to me, never seen that before.

It’s a Felsa 745, one of the smallest 8 day movements; I think around 29-30mm. I messaged the seller for pics of the movement. It doesn’t have shock protection, but pretty cool none the less.

It’s the little brother, just hours and minutes. I wonder if a long seconds from one of the other Felsa calibers would fit?

I am afraid that I have no experience with the Felsa movements. I know that Tanukjaju has.

Tan’s 8 day thread is the one that got me looking for this movement. I found some others on eBay, but they are Van Cleef & Arpels and the prices are shitpants expensive:
