a project that has been open for so long, it is a matter of honor in my eyes to finish it.

very true, it has been a real pain, and thousands of dollars in machines and failed attempts, those pips... so simple right, try making a few hundred of them exactly the same...

So, while waiting on parts for my large lathe i took the opportunity to finally get these mostly done, still need to do the final finishing but the hard part is over. Those little pups and pegs have tormented my dreams!!!
