This movement is beautiful! I am starting to appreciate more & more towards the old American branded movement from the good old days. They've good design and gorgeous finishing.

And after 110 years and a service, Ignore the amplitude Timegraph was set at 52 so its probably more like 270 which is still excellent

Lee, wonderful! where do you source the cases?

the cases were all sourced by Szcepan depending on the movement size, i presumed from Eastern Europe.

some cases needed to be drilled for the additional adjustment tab on the case.

all in all i have around 20 of these builds which are beautiful collection of pocket movements, a few are with the wolf teeth, a few with the beautifully engraved Hamilton 992 movement.

wow 20, and only the few you show here are already beautiful ones , what about the others

Something rare for today: Jüles Jürgensen from the mid-late 1800's.

From a time when production costs for such high priced items were not an issue as today
( These kind of Jürgensen pocket watches were more expensive then Patek ones ).

It's safe to say they "went full retard" with the quality and finishing.

What a detailing! Especially Taking into account that the most of work was made by hand.
