We had discussions here a few times how to spot a sf240 and it is very easy.
First are hands, sf240 regular hands are without tails.
And the second main difference is the screws on the case back. One of three screws must be placed on the stem direction and not like sf190, the stem is between two screws.

Thank you very much for the information.
It cost me cheap, about 54 euros at home.
It turned out cool, now I have to think about what support I will do.

Last build for this year.
A friend of mine wanted to build his watch watch by himself. But he managed to break two setting levers and one setting lever unscrewed in three movements.
Finally he sent all parts to me… I received them today… now the watch is ready to rumble.

Scratches were already on the movement. Probably the result of him wanting to shorten the second pin.

Cut and fitted the stem and NW crown today. NW tube is soldered in and a little JB to seal. Case back polished and then scratched a bit to put 60 years wear on

.
Next job is to change the pinion and hour wheel and fit the hands. I like the NW crystal as it’s quite high.[attachment=

One note, with the NW crown and tube fitted there is very little tension on the lever with the Ali case. I needed to put a thicker O-ring in place to solve the issue. I will leave the Ali tube in place next time and just use the crown.
