Nice pic and job...
On the other hand do you know the size of the white gasket between case and the bezel?
Thanks friend, but I will reshape this case again. I don’t know how to measure the spacer, but you can measure the thickness of the bezel and the thickness of the spacer

Without spacer

With spacer

Thanks, in fact when I saw there was a empty space between the bezel and the midcase on the half of the watch and a white part on the second half I pop out the bezel with a really low finger push. Result the case has been sadly assembled and the white gasket is completely destroy. Thats why its difficult to measure it.
Thanks for the pics

Waiting for Kp0y‘s caseback.

I know the gen PAM 36B has an engraved display caseback but since I’ve embedded an Asia Clone 6497, I decided to use an engraved closed caseback. Image
The 36b were titanium. There is a titanium case available on AliX but I can’t find it, their search isn’t the best. But the caseback will be an issue.
Many thanks.
Yes, I know that the case is/was a titanium one.
If you find the link, please forward it to me.
Regarding the caseback: yes you’re right but what is better to have a closed one or a gen copy where the Asia movement is displayed.
And on the other hand side who can see a caseback. Image

If the watch were for me then many parts would be different. Image

This is my grail...my White Whale...and as far as I can tell, there's only one photo of the watch online to use as reference.

So it'll be a gen bubbleback case I've had stashed for a bit, a negative relief gilt dial with pad printed accents (most notably the red "EVEREST" writing), and some AliX hands until I can find better. NH38 movement so no worries about ghost date position.

This is the rough mock up at the moment, with a reject dial that I made to get an idea of the proportions. The dial still needs some tweaking of layout and fonts, but it's close (and the gen watch is so rare, I doubt anyone would call out a slight variation from the original):

Lots of work still to go, but I'm happy with the progress so far.

I like your White Whale !
I'll be curious to see which hands you'll find,
I've searched some but never found a similar design :-(

What are you working on now?
