All by hand, from cutting the steel, shape it and polishing.

There is always an issue when using an ETA/UNITAS movement with their bold screws.
You can‘t have both, fixing the movement and screwing the caseback. Right?

On the other hand side you can’t use the AliE etc screws because these are thin and short.
Solution:
Image
Mark the area which has to be reduced. Then put it in a pin vice or so and file the marked area as far as you need.

Same solution used Molnija for their wristwatches with their 3602/3 movements.
