It’s an old silix case. With nightwatch / Athaya bezel/caseback

I thought it might be. To my eyes the silix mid case has a fatter or more rounded profile on the edges. Beautiful execution.

They were a great case. Easy to mix and match back in the day. I’ve put different 8 day movements in that. Sadly, it is time to find a new platform…. I’m down to a few parts but nothing to fit exotic movements inside.

I’ve built a few variations of this in the past but this will stay because these cases /setup are getting to be rare as hens teeth.

This build is so special and stunning! I love it!
I'm more and more in getting an 8-day movement and build my cali with it...

Nowadays athaya has the 3646 with angelus-midring on stock, but I think you dont mean angelzs with "exotic movenents"?

I do - both the one you built with the Lemania movement and an Angelus 8 day. I need a different strap for yours but those springbars were tricky to refit

I am really behind in my ‘who has what’ department! Thanks for the info. The only 47mm case that fits my wrist is the 3646…. I was referring to the silix case as being rare/exotic … funny cause it was a $30 case back in the day….and there are probably hundreds tossed aside in drawers of guys that have most interest in the hobby.

I will reach out to Adrian regarding the spacer. There are 2 sizes for the SF240. The main plate on the alarm and non alarm are different in diameter.

Picked up a box of watch parts from an antique shop, found a completed set of parts and put them back together for a Hebdomas pocket watch.

I would not have been able to do that without first seeing / studying where the parts went. Nicely done. What else is in there?
