I'm in too,
I know Dimitry through this HF community and have traded with him many times.
and sad to say that there is not much I can do from far away Japan when my HF brothers are facing great difficulties.
I am going to donate to help him and his family rebuild their lives in the future.

Thanks for the information and your help!spade_lt wrote:After I wrote that message I received email form Dmitry. Translated into english:
Hi.
We got to the city of Mukachevo. From here it is not far to the border point Kosino, this is the border with Hungary. Today we will try to find out how many people and cars are there. Unfortunately, all Polish crossings points are full and there is a real collapse - the queues of cars stretched for 50-60 km. Moreover, the police no longer allow you to take a place in the line.
It is very far from Lithuania to Kosino and asking you to go would be absurd. Now we are trying to figure out how mine can get from Kosino to Poland. I'll let you know.
As for HF. I am wildly grateful and touched by your support guys, thank you so much! We have a small reserve of money, but how long it will last in these conditions...
I promptly wrote him, that it's not a problem for me to go to the HU, but received no answer from him.
p.s. If you are interested what we are talking about, open google maps, and have a look. I'm currently in Vilnius...

it is important that we help! I can also go to Poland right away, it's only 600 km. No problem! I have a small hotel by the lake for his family. let me know what to do!

Dmitry has been an asset to this community and we will all help where possible. As watch enthusiast and as human beings.
We will all be involved more or less in this conflict as the time passes.
The Evil that is Putin and Lukashenko, as well as Kadyrov, has to be eliminated from our world.
We stand united and will help each other out.
Slava Ukraini!

In Japan, the Ukrainian Embassy has an official Twitter feed in Japanese, and there is great interest in Ukraine.
That tweet get 124K retweet and over 300K likes from Fed 25.
A number of Japanese have commented with picture on how they donated.
I also responded to the embassy's call and made a donation just now.
Probably a lot of donations and support for daily necessities will be sent to Ukraine from Japan.
Japan may not be able to provide the help that is needed right now, but I am sure that in the near future the good will of Japan will be useful to the people of Ukraine.

I found this link for donation to people in Ukraine and sent some funds. But I want to directly help our brother Dimtry.
I have his PayPal details since I have previously dealt with him before. Will it be helpful to him if we sent money there (since maybe he may have limited means to withdraw his money) or better to send to one of the bros here who can help him?

yes, he can not use Paypal but he can use Wise.
I sent him some money with Wise just 10 days ago.
But I do not know if he still can access to his wise account and withdraw money from there
