Here´s my ELGIN , from about 1910 . I guess , its too big to build a wristwatch from it , right ? The dial has 45mm Ø , the mvnt 43mm Ø .

Nice watch! , main expense will be time setting option conversion. when you choose pocket watch for conversion, look for small screw near the winding stem in the bridge. if there is not, it will require high skill to create. not many able to do.

just arrived, the dial is intact, do not know yet what with the subdial second hand. unfortunately 41mm maximum can be the movement.,. too big. OKi just need to restore... super amazing splitsecond chronograph with polished chamfers on all gears in the movement. super high grade. Image

:mrgreen: :mrgreen: finally I collected Corteberts 590, 540, 616, 616(618) all with original incablocks. I also got montilier 662 with the original incablock, probably later pocket watch editions with screw down cases. will post later

I’ve put a 41mm into a 47mm case before, very tight, needs to be completely custom CNC. How does the split seconds work, all from the crown?

I’ve put a 41mm into a 47mm case before, very tight, needs to be completely custom CNC. How does the split seconds work, all from the crown?
need to find it in my pile of opened and not closed "Gelshtalds" :lol: as I remember there was a small button on the left and winding crown can push too but no button in the middle of it or no, do not remember. busy at the moment will check later. too messy in my room :problem:
nice repeater. I bought two repeaters too, one small one big... also nice small vintage retropante for hours and minutes.
