Have nebeen strangely drawn to this brand of late. always liked ploprof variants, but other vintage pieces catching my eye more. Anyone here have a favourite model?

"Only" two, Constellation Pie Pan and Speedmaster.

I do have the Planet Ocean 8500, but it is not a favourite.

I generally don't like the design of new watches. The ones I like are usually inspired/copied from vintage models (Hamiltons 68's, Heuer "reissues" etc.) or have a design that hasn't changed (Oysterquartz, Nautilus, Royal Oak). The modern versions of for example IWC Ingenieur SL and Vacheron 222 (now called Overseas) look terrible compared to the originals. Vintage Rolex beats modern Rolex 10 out of 10 times on design.

Now, to your question: I like Omega too. Ploprof is kinda cool (but too weird for me to wear), Moon Watch is ok (but "everyone" has one, like with the Rolex Submariner).

The Railmaster is a fabulous Omega, maybe underappreciated, and one that you won't see on many other wrists. The similar, but more well known Seamaster 300 is my absolute Omega fav, one I want to get some day.
