Anyone interested in getting a Geiger Radiation Meter for checking your lume?
A local school is being liquidated and they have 4 Geigers on auction - current bid is $71

I would imagine as any sensor would but aren't they able to pick up radium on a watch?

i would love one but i'm sure our customs dept or homeland security dept. would be very interested to know why i need a geiger counter.

I bought one of those portable iphone smart Geiger devices that connect to the microphone input. It seems to work pretty well.

Do tou have a link to iphone add on? I assume geiger counter is a measuring device and should be ok in customs?

I had no issues with customs. It came in standard cheap chinese plastic package.

hi mel, i mean to say industrial type geiger counters would attract attention through customs.

the small iphone type geiger counter is ok.

a search on ebay turns up lots of geiger counters.
