A Max Christmas Present

For Max Cat
For the ones not so fortunate.
For Christmas
For ....something

Gents

Those of you who have been around on HF Mk1 will remember that this time of year, I would put up something out of my collection in support of animal charities.

This year has been

Well

Enough of that

This is the way it works.

You donate ten dollars equivalent or more to an animal charity, cash, food, bedding, adopt one, anything. Nothing goes to me, you do it and you post here. No identifying information, no receipt required. If you can't be honest about this, that's on you.

If you can't think of an animal charity I recommend
Born Free in the UK
Shambala Preserve in the US
Animal Rescue Site (Greater Good ) in the US.

They all also offer virtual adoption and merchandise, so you can get a gift for someone else. Your local shelter needs help just as much.

I put up a watch from my collection.
I put everybody's name on slips of paper and put them in a bowl on the floor.
I throw in a piece of back bacon and Max dives into the bowl. Whatever name he knocks out of the bowl wins. Anywhere in the world. I believe our Elias won once and it went to Greece.

This year, I am putting up a Ball Aero 2 GMT Kitty Hawk

Draw is Boxing Day.

Big thumbs up on getting animals from shelters!

Our two dogs came from very bad places, the girl is a former stray from hungary who wouldn’t let a man touch her without screaming and the boy had been with a severe alcoholic who tried to make him a guard dog by breaking him with cruelty... he was so irrationally agressive that no one was able to touch him and he already had his appointment for euthanasia three days from when I decided to give him a six month probation in our family. It’s been three years now and both turned out to be the most gentle family dogs. Welcoming to our guests, calm around children and very hairy on the couch 😅

If within reach, they will become a mirror of you. Good job!

Well... they do like to sleep, eat, fart and annoy my wife from time to time so... yes - a mirror of me
