Ranfft Database

I sent an email to Dr. Ranfft today asking if it was possible to get the data tables that feed his movement archive so that I could filter/query on specific fields. For example, at the moment I'd love to be able to query his data to find all PW movements with an outside diameter of >34mm and <40mm, which have an hour hand size of X and minute hand size of Y. Then I'd be able to search ebay a little more effectively in my hunt for cool movements which I know I can get hands for...
Anyway, wondering if anything like this has been attempted by anyone here. I will post back if and when I get a reply from Ranfft.

Awesome idea, really hope it works out. I don't know of anyone that has attempted this.

Never noticed it, how silly of me. It's a very cool set of criteria he has provided in the advanced search, but unfortunately doesn't include the ability to filter for hand hole sizes - my primary concern at the moment. Still, this will be very useful - thanks for pointing it out!

You can search by hole size... Just type exactly ad it says in some movement info, e. g. "1.50x0.90 mm"
It works
