Dual time watches.

So, I'm moving today. Just waiting for the van to pick us up to bring us to the airport for the last time.
Leaving, I'm wearing my HMT Inox dual time. It's the one I kept out of the 3 I bought.
Right now Time 1 is set to India and time 2 is set to Pacific time. In 5 hrs, I will advance time 1 to Philippine time.
Baring a move to Newfoundland, it's likely the kast time I will be a half hour off the rest of the world. It's currently 6:00 pm here and 5:30am in Vancouver.
Also, I'll no longer be half wsy around the world from home. It's almost the same travel time flying west through Europe or east through Hong Kong. I'll be living in the same timezone as my parents for the first time since 1997.
I have 2 quartz dual-time watches and two quartz GMT watches.
First was my short-lived fascination with 24hr wstches. I bought Sturmanskystein, with a movement that didn't work. Now it has a Ronda 515.24h quartz GMT movement and a depth-gauge dial.

My 2nd GMT was a BFW by Invicta. I forget the proper name, but at 50mm it's a BFW.

It's also powered by a Ronda 515.24h.
I like the 24h ring and hand, but it's not a quick read.
Then I saw this, a $1500-2000 Glycine airman with 3 separate time zones. Each zone has its own auto movement, so it's big. But it's cool.
After seeing that, I stumbled on the HMT dual time. It had been sold out for ages. Suddenly there were three options, and I bought all. The black dial sold quickly. I decided to keep the white, and sold the blue to a good friend.
He ended up giving me his curren, which at 50mm was too big for him. I kinda like it.

I was toying with making my own mechanical dual or triple time watch with women's movements, but what's the advantage of always having to sync the individual movements? Here, quartz is definitely a better option.
All I need now is a nice worldtimer. I like the Chris Ward version, but rather than drop a grand on that, I'll think of a design of my own. Perhaps the Sturmanskystein original dial might make a comeback. I'll see if i can remove the 'sturmansky' from the dial. I'm thinking internal bezel... Long term project.
Anyway, time to line up.
Goodbye Bangalore.

I wish Orient movements were easy to buy.

My Orient.
It's a dual moment, quartz (left hand dial) and automatic (right hand dial) with a third crown to align the day/date. 43mm case.

Quartz and auto? Cool, I would never have thought to have both types in a watch.

Actually that's a really great idea. Would be really simple to set the automatic part of the watch as and when you need it
