Going ahead with my "turtle period" a few days ago I completed this new build.
This time I used a black PVD case set finished with a gilt black insert with gold numbers. Dial is canvas textured with silver indices and golden hands. I like the mix of steel, gold and pvd and the grey dial on black case.
Watch is finished off nicely with a golden nato with grey edges.
Btw, before one of you guys asks, this one has already been put up for sale on ebay. As much as I enjoy building these fun pieces I just can't justify adding another 20+ watches to my already huge collection.

Great build- very difficult to take a popular case like this and create something original and unique of it.
