Strap options for a brown dial

Post by calvinktlim »

I really like vintage watches with a brown dial. But I found that I have no idea as to what color strap would work best with it.

Currently I have a dark tan strap on it but somewhat it feels dull.

Although straps are quite a personal choice, I would like to hear some ideas and suggestions. Image

It's been tradition to use the same colour on both strap and dial.
You could easily go black strap in my opinion.

Hello. maybe you should consider straps made of vintage old leather. with obvious signs of old age. The color is up to you. The strap in the photo is made from a 1937 officer's tablet. noble patina, scuffs, stains. vintage in its purest form.

It has to be mid-brown or tan! Going back a few years I had this gen PAM339 for too-short while to which I added this strap.

I'll try that for a start. I'm sure I have something in a similar color

Maybe, try black strap if you have, but dark chocolate colour would be good too..

I don't think brown with brown goes well.

I would choose something darker like black leather or dark chocolate brown
