Just got this for fun. Reasonably well made movement, but not as good as Lemania 8 day movement IMO, possibly same quality as Angelus SF240 and SF125. Surface coating and finish also very Angelus like, and quite a clock type movement.

Twin barrels winding is a bit complex, but no more complex than alarm movement. Still a bit different from normal clock movement and takes a while to figure it out how to assemble it correctly. Mild wear on the winding system, so I guess the build quality isn’t great.

Winds and run quite smooth, maybe that’s what twin barrels should be. The internal space of the movement is quite full, so in terms of unnecessary mechanical complexity it’s one of the better design, and very satisfying to look at. I’m wondering if there was a smaller version of this, that’ll be perfect.

Humm, Heuer and Revue version, both are brands I like, but I don’t think I can afford either. The design looks very similar, but mine is a lot more clock like than yours.

I do want to make it into a watch, but I don’t think I have time and budget to do it at the moment. But I find it more fun just hunting 8 day movements rather than watch building. Every time I got a new one it could be something completely different.

Older brother, but more clock movement.. I have crazy idea put him in wirst case but is only crazy idea..
This twin barrel is nice movement. I think this movement have very good accuracy after service In last few months I discovered 8 day clock movement and have more fun for reasonable price.. Thanks for your photo
One question do you know thickness?
